By accessing or using MZAI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
2. Description of Service
MZAI provides an AI companion experience that includes personalized conversations, emotional support, memory-based interactions, and relationship progression features. The Service is intended for adults aged 18 and older.
The AI companion is a software system. It is not a real person, does not have genuine feelings or consciousness, and cannot replace professional mental health support, medical advice, or human relationships.
3. User Accounts
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, are being used in a harmful or abusive manner.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
MZAI offers a free tier with limited daily messages and paid subscription plans (Weekly, Monthly, Lifetime). Paid features include memory-based interactions, roleplay scenarios, and unlimited messaging.
Subscription fees are billed in advance. All payments are processed securely through our payment provider. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Lifetime purchases are one-time payments with no recurring charges.
We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods, except where required by applicable law. If you experience issues with your payment, contact us at support@mzai.app.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or replicate the AI system's underlying model or prompts
- Generate content that is illegal, harassing, threatening, or harmful to others
- Circumvent usage limits, quota systems, or authentication mechanisms
- Use automated scripts, bots, or other means to access the Service without authorization
- Share your account credentials or allow others to access your account
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
6. AI-Generated Content
All responses from the AI companion are generated by a large language model and may occasionally be inaccurate, inconsistent, or inappropriate. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated content for any particular purpose.
MZAI is not a substitute for professional psychological, medical, legal, or financial advice. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or emergency, please contact a qualified professional or emergency services.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by MZAI and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you submit, but grant MZAI a limited license to use it solely to operate and improve the Service.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. Upon deletion, all your personal data — including messages, memories, and profile information — is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MZAI disclaims all warranties, express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or a prominent notice within the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
